WordPress Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of WordPress themes, advanced customization, and the ability to transform any theme into a high-performance website. This position requires expertise in coding from scratch, creating custom plugins, and integrating advanced features such as Elastic Search. Experience with deploying websites to cloud hosting platforms like AWS or Digital Ocean, and strong knowledge of web security and backup strategies, are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• WordPress Development & Customization: Convert any existing WordPress theme into a lightweight and optimized website and Implement advanced customizations, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Custom Plugin Development: Build custom plugins from scratch to meet specific functionality and business requirements.
• Elastic Search Integration: Implement and configure Elastic Search for improved website search functionality and enhanced user experience.
• Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage websites on cloud hosting platforms such as AWS or Digital Ocean and Ensure proper setup, scaling, and maintenance.
• Web Security & Backup: Implement best practices for securing WordPress websites, including safeguarding against vulnerabilities and attacks. Also, regularly set up secure backups to prevent data loss.
• Optimization & Performance: Continuously optimize the website for speed and performance using tools like caching, image compression, and database optimization.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor/Honors
• Skills Required: MySQL, JavaScript, WordPress, AWS, WordPress Plugin Development, PHP Programming, WordPress theme development and customization

Experience Requirements

• At least 3 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
• Design/Printing/Publishing, Software Company, Web Media/Blog, E-commerce, E-commerce Startup

Additional Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a portfolio of projects showcasing advanced customization, theme modifications, and plugin development.
• Advanced Customization Skills
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Expertise in customizing and optimizing WordPress themes for performance and speed.
• Extensive experience with Elastic
• Search implementation and integration into WordPress sites.
• Solid knowledge of web security best practices, including site hardening, SSL, firewalls, and malware protection.
• Familiarity with AWS, Digital Ocean, or other cloud hosting platforms, including site deployment, server management, and scaling.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
